Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark red in color this wine has notes of blackberry and mocha with hints of plum and sage. On the palate the impeccably balanced wine is dark fleshy and supple with notes of espresso and bittersweet chocolate and a touch of black cherry on the finish. HARVEST & WINEMAKING The grapes used to produce this wine are from the best appellations in Napa Valley from the best growers. A list of our growers include: Sequoia Grove Estate vineyard Tonella Estate vineyard Stagecoach Morisoli Lamoreaux Henry Brothers Healy and Christian vineyard. Each site was harvested at its ideal brix ranging between 24.9 and 29.4 and picked over the course of four weeks from September 13th through October 18th. The fruit was hand sorted before undergoing a 1-2 day cold soak. The lots were individually fermented in small batches with gentle pumpovers 2-3 times per day.
