The wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the De Carle Vineyard located on the dusty west side of Rutherford. It is aged for 16 months in 48% new French oak. The wine shows purple color with well formed legs. It is dry medium-full bodied with balanced acidity and medium phenolics with a quite long finish. Big and succulent this Cabernet offers red and black fruit with a supple mouthfeel of integrated oak and dusty terroir. Somewhat Steakhouse in style. Layered-Textured=Dimensional. Bear Score 96+
