At the height of prohibition, Everett Davis produced his legendary white lighting moonshine in the Texas hill country near Fredricksburg. Everett used the crystal clear spring fed waters of the Llano river and smoky Live Oak wood fires to heat his stills. Texas shine is made today using the same recipe handed down from over the years.
